  9.     SysPic is a small but powerful viewer-like program meant to show a picture
  10. during the boot time.
  11.  
  12.     Features:                  * - a star feature :-)
  13.  
  14.       o is small & VERY fast! (picture decompression routines written
  15.         in optimized assembly)
  16.     
  17.       o shows IFF-ILBM pictures of any size and resolution
  18.  
  19.       o supports AGA modes (also HAM8)
  20.  
  21.       o centers picture both horizontally & *vertically*
  22.  
  23.       * can fade-in picture and fade-out it to Workbench (with selectable
  24.         rate) - this works in asynchronous manner (i.e no delays) -
  25.         mouse pointer is also faded
  26.  
  27.       * has a very powerful random selector - an option assures that
  28.         a picture won't show twice until all pictures are shown
  29.  
  30.       o forces Workbench to open behind the displayed picture so it can be
  31.         closed after whole Workbench initialization
  32.  
  33.       * is iprefs-jump proof - sets overscan prefs before IPrefs will do it!
  34.  
  35.       o picture can be displayed in a desired mode or just promoted to
  36.         specific monitor

  38.       o blanks the pointer sprite so you won't see it when the Workbench
  39.         screen opens (it would look annoying)
  40.  
  41.       * picture is automatically closed when something goes wrong with booting
  42.         - when an requester pops up on Workbench or so

  44.       o detaches from shell in an intelligent way (i.e after loading
  45.         the picture)

  47.       * DOES NOT fragment memory!!!

  49.       o supports BeetLogin (closes it's 'fake' screen)

  51.       o is 100% legal (and 100% AMOS free.... ;-)

  61.     o New options added: 'Red', 'Green', 'Blue'. Requested by Dave Dustin,
  62.       Girish Nath and Marcin Orlowski [blackness is now possible, guys :]

  64.     o Right mouse button doesn't immediately close the picture.  It rather
  65.       fades it out (usable for tests). Again Girish Nath's suggestion.

  67.     o Distribution changed - SysPic is now split into two archives,
  68.       one with the program, second one with the bonus pictures.
  69.       (Saving bandwidth... :)

  71.     o Default tool in 'Install SysPic' icon changed to 'Installer'
  72.       (was 'C2:Installer'... ooops, ToolAlias in MCP is guilty).
